1) Message boards : News : ATI application updated to 0.60 (Message 48217)

Not sure what was happening now, but my output has gone down the drain, most likely because of inconclusive validations and also a good number of invalid validations. Is this linked to optimized apps settings or are there stock users concerned as well?

My theoretical daily RAC for a 5870 on W7_64 here is now ~202,243cr, which is near as makes no difference to it's RAC at PG ~202,663(coincidence?), and you can actually buffer an entire day of work there, so I am easing back to PG for now...

Are the old .57 WU's going to get credit or do we abort them... they show as 'Not in DB' under Application.

Do we abort these we have running now as I don't see any valid or pending in my account...and they are slowing my Q6600 to a crawl with no CPU tasks running...

I got 24 tasks, then 12, then 22 and sent 1 completed back in 8 minutes clock time on quad core with one 4870.
Edit: ALL ATI WU's.

I left for DNETC too but can be easily persuaded back... reliable up time, 'progressive' credit scheme ;)
7) Message boards : Number crunching : Why can't we set MW resource share to 0%? (Message 46476)
Posted 7 Mar 2011 by JAMC

...sigh, well with all the other hardware/software problems here I guess it is not a priority. I am down to running MW(partially) on just one rig these days anyway. Sigh(again), oh for the good old days...
8) Message boards : Number crunching : Why can't we set MW resource share to 0%? (Message 46473)

Post:
I tried to set MW resource share to 0% as a backup project under my account MW preferences but when I click apply in resets to 100%.
Given the up/down/up/down nature of the project it would be nice to be able to set it as the backup.

Those FERMI cards, just installed a GTX480 & GTX470 on an ASUS P5E with an QX9650
CPU, they are 'Double Precision', since it isn't mentioned in the spec's?

Anyway, they are fast, very fast.

How fast?
19) Message boards : Number crunching : Longer WU's for same Amount of Credit ??? (Message 37916)
Posted 2 Apr 2010 by JAMC
Post:
The Wu's have increased by about 1/3 but the Credit hasn't, right now Milkyway Credit is lower than Collatz or DNETC ... ???

I'm seeing a 70% increase in time with no increase in credits. Guess it's time to go to Collatz. Cards run cooler on single precision anyay.

Yep, me too... Collatz bound with everything...

I had a rig with 24 tasks in upload limbo this am and the website access seems slower than usual and slowing.
Just checking.
