Retired exploration geologist living near Vancouver B.C. Canada ... always looked to the stars where ever I travelled throughout the world..the source of beauty, desolation and immense wonder...You ask the following questions:
1) Are we alone out here, on the edge of the Orion Arm of the Milky Way, 30,000 light years from the centre?
2) How did we get here?
3) If we are not alone ... how do we physically get there to meet our contact as the distances are so enormous and the time is well beyond out feeble lifetimes?
If I can use my little computing power of the Gpu and Cpu of my computer to help understand these questions ... we in turn might just start understanding ourselves! |
