My personal favorite:

(beware naughty language)

Ahahahahahaha!

Learning. Sharing. Caring. The 3 words behind Milkyway@home.

Blame Misfit for the trend in (de)motivational poster pics.

on the anti-motivational theme....

I guess Crunch3r got caught focusing. =8-0

Computational models of the Andromeda and Milky Galaxy mergers look a lot like that.

I in no way said that the Project told him not to use the Application, that I don't know anything about so don't put words in my mouth Brian. I said the Project turned down using his application & I was just going by what Crunch3r said himself and other Information I had at the time.

Maybe you should re-read what i posted instead of twisting it...

I said that ALL applications that are send from the project now are compiled by me (except for the PPC&BSD one).

That means all of you that are running any form of windows & linux run an application compiled by me.

I also said that i made suggestions on where to look at the code for optimization and what "tools" can be utilized for max. performance (free and non-free)... i made those suggestions about 4 months ago.

The only response i got was "hey i need a new app for OSX, because the guys are moaning that their app is to slow" so i made a new one which is available in the sticky link.

I also fixed a problem where the linux app crashed and posted the link for the guys having that problem.

If I twisted anything you said then I stand corrected and apologize because that was not my intention of doing that & from what I read in the Posts you made & I'm reading that was my interpretation of what you said, again I apologize if I was wrong.

I said that ALL applications that are send from the project now are compiled by me (except for the PPC&BSD one).

That I didn't read anywhere, could you point it out because it's entirely different from the posts I'm reading that you made & really doesn't have any bearing on what I said, at least I don't think it does even if you did say that.

PS: I looked back through all your Post Crunch3r and no where did I see you saying that:
I said that ALL applications that are send from the project now are compiled by me (except for the PPC&BSD one).

So like I said you'll have to point that out because I must have missed it ...

Wow, I hadn't been to the homepage here in a while. I find this note to be offensive and a blatant accusation to a member of my team. If this is the way things are to be handled here, I will be moving my machines!

August 19, 2008 Validator and Awarded Credit Change
We've made a change to our validator which basically puts a speed limit to the amount of credit any given host can be awarded (per cpu). While this shouldn't effect the vast majority of our users (as the speed limit is quite high), it should protect the project from users who would like to cheat the project to get excessive credit.

plenty of post here on the boards and easy to find ...
(IF the threads did not already "magically" disappear ... like the sticky OSX optimized one, you might need to hurry)

for example linux, also "evidence" of the suggestions that i made...

Guess I'm blind cause I still don't see you saying that in that thread or anything else in the thread that would pertain to this matter really ....

You put out the source code, someone makes a app to run it better and then you complain about it???

As much as I love this project unless this restriction is lifted, I will not be crunching for this project anytime soon

Well, I am not blind. You publicly called Crunch3r a cheater without having all of the facts, and I have yet to see a retraction from you. I am also quite disappointed that the administration of this project has left that unfounded accusation for all to see.

Quote from your post:
You can call what he is doing whatever you like, Bending the Rules, Ahead of the Curve & even admire him for his Intelligence but in the end it is nothing more than Outright Blatant Cheating & in the same Lofty Class as the Notoriously Ugly Wate Incident of some time ago.

I think the thread should be hidden or deleted, or at the very least your post should be.

Ummmmm, Errrr, What's up Sarge or is it Sarge3r or ???

Anyway this Quote by me is as close as you'll ever get from me as a retraction:
I know Crunch is just working in the boundary's of the given rules & not Cheating in the true sense of the word

I'm not linking it because I had to find it so you can look for it yourself too ... :)

PS: Since it seems other people are changing their Nicks to Crunch3r or something along those lines like you, Kevint, and maybe others, so I think I'll change mine to Crunch3r too, that way we can all post as Crunch3r & nobody will know who's posting what ... sounds good to me anyway ... :)

Why do you hide your computers?

Hiding your computers doesn't automatically mean you are trying to hide something illegal.

I personally hide my computers on some projects because I AM under an NDA and the system or systems that are being used in the test can not be hidden seperately. I'm actually glad you brought this up because the system is running 2 projects and I need to double check that both projects have it hidden.

I know, but neither does it mean you are not trying to hide something. Additionally, new hostIDs in and of themselves do not mean your're doing anything hinky...
