I've noticed that the time for my 64bit Vista has climbed up to an hour for .10 when tasks used to only take 45 minutes for .07, as well.

I second that with vista 64 on an i7. my runtime went from 34-ish minutes for a v.07 to an hour with v.10

OS X still takes about twice as long on Intel Mac as it did before.

Then it must depend which Intel Mac you have. 0.7, 0.8, 0.9 and 0.10 have all been pretty much the same speed for me.

I have two core duo mini's runing Tiger and one core 2 duo MacBook running Leopard. What are you running?

I have an iMac Core 2 duo 2.8 (E8235) running 10.5.6. Tasks have been taking the same time as they did last week. (Which is 10-15% slower than they were a month ago but I think that is due to different search parameters.) I certainly have not seen a sudden doubling of crunch time in any of the recent apps. No appreciable difference from 0.7 to 0.12.

0.10 is running at about 50 - 52 minutes per work unit, 0.07 was running at about 35 - 37 minutes per work unit. That's an an Athlon 4200 dual-core, clocked at 2.75 GHz and running Windows XP Pro 64-bit.

HTH,

Rob.

I've got a speed-up of about 5% using .10 compared to .07. Version.07 used to complete in approx. 4400 secs, version .10 takes about 4200 secs. I'm using Intel 3.0 duo core running 32 bit Vista.
